All students are gently reminded to practice to their comfort level and to arrive a few minutes early to set up their mats. Yoga nidra, longer extensions of pranayama, meditation and mantra are part of this class. New asanas will be introduced, and others will be held longer to deepen the experience. INTEGRAL YOGA HATHA LEVEL I/IIįor students interested in exploring a transition from Level I to Level II of the Integral Yoga lineage as taught by Sri Swami Satchidananda. Each class provides personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, energy, and breath–all within a playful, supportive environment.

In Hatha Yoga, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in asana and attain increased balance and an enhanced connection to our highest self. Gentle Vinyasa yoga is a great way to transition from the weekend into the work-week. Prompts for guided visualization and mantra may be offered. Meditation and pranayama are included in each session. All are encouraged to accept the beauty of their practice without needing to achieve anything other than coming into the present moment and truly experiencing it. Together, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in asana. Gentle Vinyasa yoga is an intuitive group class that features personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, spirit, and breath–all within a playful, safe environment. This class encourages the participant that everyone is a dancer, and through the power of flow, we can release doubts, anxiety, inhibitions, and self-judgments. In this 75-minute class, we will prepare the body with a 45-minute yoga practice, followed by a 20-minute weaving of asanas ( yoga postures ) expressed into a dance. Vigorous align-and-flow style classes to wake you up and get you going and flowing into the rest of your day. In addition to asana, classes include opportunities for pranayama and meditation. With a focus on breath and feeling, this class offers accessible alignment cues to engage any yogi. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. Class is slower paced than an all-levels class, and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. ALIGN AND FLOWĬlasses are open to students of all levels and offer accessible alignment principles and biomechanics from which students can be playful, explore their creative potential, heal and transform. Advancing Asana invites anyone seeking to advance their yoga practice, no matter what level you practice at. Every Sunday we build up from the basics into more challenging balances, bends, folds, openings, twists and inversions in a supportive, community-based forum.

This physical practice is offered with some yoga philosophy, music, and perhaps some humor. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of alignment and breath. This class provides a combination of healthy alignment and the freedom to play within familiar and new poses. We’ll build both sensitivity and strength while training inversions, learning acrobatic flows, and sharing healing touch. AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, with healing touch of Thai Massage, and the dynamic connection of acrobatics.
